4. Tenemos el plentitud del Evangelio de Jesucristo restorado en la tierra otra vez.
5. Tenemos el Sacerdocio--o sea, la autoridad para actuar en el nombre de Dios.
6. El Libro de Mormon.
7. el templo.
8. La revelacion moderna.
9. Un profeta viviente.
10. Podemos regresar a Dios y vivir con El para siempre si vivimos el Evangelio de Jesucristo aqui en la tierra.

Estoy aqui para testificar.
Primeramente de nuestro Salvador, Jesucristo. De Su vida, Su Expiacion, y que El vive.
Tambien, estoy aqui para compartir con usted que se que este iglesia, la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias, es Su iglesia verdadera que fue restaurado en la tierra otra vez.
Y que ser miembro de la unica verdadera iglesia de Jesucristo es una forma de vivir. Una forma de vivir que si lo vive, le traera mas gozo que pueda imaginar.

I'm here to testify.
First of our Savior, Jesus Christ. His life, His Atonement, and that He lives again.
I'm also here to share with you that I know that this, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints, is His true church restored to the Earth again.
And that being a member of the true church of our Savior is a way of life. A way of life that if lived will bring you more happiness than you could ever before imagine.

Estoy agradecida por estas personas en mi vida por que ellos me hacen una mejor persona. Aunque no todos son miembros de la Iglesia, son ejemplos de muchas maneras en que podemos ser mas como nuestro Salvador, Jesucristo. Y para mi, esto es lo que quiero seguir.
I'm so grateful for these people in my life because they make me a better person. Cliche, I know. But really, they do. Even though not all of them are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, they're examples in many ways of how we can be more like our Savior Jesus Christ. And for me, that's what I want to follow.

3. Chewing. Because life would be pretty boring if you couldn't eat food.. especially at Christmas.
4. I'm also glad that I can digest food.
5. Singing. I love to sing. Sometimes. I also love that everyone can sing. Really. Just not everyone can sing well...
6. Swimming.
7. Typing.
8. Driving a car. That's a physical ability right?
9. Breathing.
10. Smelling. Even though that's one that I'm not always that appreciative of..

Our bodies are a gift from our loving Heavenly Father. They're part of His plan to help us become more like Him.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." [Genesis 1:27]

The Christmas season always seems to be one where feelings are a little more tender and we all get a little more sentimental.

Pretty sure that's a great time to realize just how many blessings we have.

The First Presidency Message this month is by President Henry B. Eyring and is called "The Choice to Be Grateful".

And at the end, there are great ways to apply it to youth and children too.

Like this one.

Take a Gratitude Challenge

Let’s not just talk about counting our blessings—let’s do it! Write a list of 100 things you are thankful for.
If that sounds like it is too many, try this:

1. Write 10 physical abilities you are grateful for.
2. Write 10 material possessions you are grateful for.
3. Write 10 living people you are grateful for.
4. Write 10 deceased people you are grateful for.
5. Write 10 things about nature you are grateful for.
6. Write 10 things about today you are grateful for.
7. Write 10 places on earth you are grateful for.
8. Write 10 modern inventions you are grateful for.
9. Write 10 foods you are grateful for.
10. Write 10 things about the gospel you are grateful for.

When we make a list like this, we discover that a list of 100 doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of all the things God has given us.

So if you're up to it, make this Christmas season full of a little more gratitude and grateful challenge with me.

Si solo fuera asi de facil.
Creo que me he pasado la mayor parte de mis navidades siendo recordada de simplificar. Ya sea las luces, la decoracion, la lista de regalos para dar o recibir, el dulce de comer, o la comiendo de galletas, siempre habia algo que podia hacer menos con el fin de recordar la verdadera razon por la cual celebramos la Navidad, Cristo.

Si usted se siente que su Navidad ya esta en la necesidad de simplificar, menos de la materia y mas del Salvador, esta lista [se encuentra aqui en Ingles] podria ser de ayuda en cuanto a como tener una mayor adoracion de Navidad.

• Amablemente rechazar las solicitudes que le llevara lejos de su familia.
• Escuchar mas musica de Navidad.

If only it was really that easy.

I think I've spent most of my Christmases being reminded to simplify. Whether it be the lights, the decorations, the list of gifts to give or get, the candy eating, or the cookie snacking, there was always something that I could do less of in order to remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas: Christ.

If you're feeling that your Christmas is already in need of some simplifying, less stuff and more of the Savior, this list [found here] might be of help as to how to have a more worshipful Christmas.

• Replace some holiday decorations in your home with reminders of Christ.
• Politely decline requests that will take you away from family.
• Play more Christmas music.
• Donate gently used items to a thrift store.
• Go Christmas caroling.
• Avoid “mad rush” shopping times.
• Say "thank you" as often as possible.
• Schedule a night to help another person or family.
• Call someone you normally wouldn't to wish him or her a Merry Christmas.
• Delegate some holiday preparations to children or other family members.
• Trim the gift list.
• Simplify a traditional activity.
• Find quiet time to pray.
• Write down great memories as they happen.
• Set and stick to a holiday budget.
• Forgive a grudge.

I know that as we simplify our Christmas with less of the unnecessary, it will create more room in our home and in our lives for the true spirit of Christmas, which is the Spirit of Christ.

So pick something on the list and put it to the test.

And have a Merry Christmas.

Esto probablemente se inicia el primero de una serie de mensajes acerca de nuestro Senor y Salvador Jesucristo. Pero primero yo solo quiero que todos ustedes sepan que yo se, sin duda que Cristo vive. Que El es el Mesias y el Principe de Paz. Que en realidad nacio en un humilde establo de Maria y Jose. Yo se que El nacio para darnos un ejemplo y que si miramos a El, no solo en esta epoca del ano, pero siempre, podemos encontrar la paz que trae la fe en El.

"La verdadera felicidad viene solo por hacer felices a los demás--la aplicación práctica de la doctrina del Salvador de perder la vida para ganarla. En resumen, el espíritu de la Navidad es el espíritu de Cristo, que hace que nuestros corazones brillan en el amor fraterno y la amistad y nos impulsa a acciones  de servicio.

In case you haven't heard the news,
It's December.

That means a lot of things.
-cold.
-9 months in the mission.
-cold.
-cold.
-Did I mention cold?
And most importantly..
-Christmas.

This probably initiates the first of a month long series of posts about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
But first I just want you all to know that I know, without a shadow of a doubt that Christ lives. That He is the Messiah and the Prince of Peace. That he really was born in a humble stable to Mary and Joseph. I know that He was born to give us an example and that if we look to Him, not only at this time of year, but always, we can find that peace that faith in Him brings.

“True happiness comes only by making others happy—the practical application of the Savior’s doctrine of losing one’s life to gain it. In short, the Christmas spirit is the Christ spirit, that makes our hearts glow in brotherly love and friendship and prompts us to kind deeds of service.

“It is the spirit of the gospel of Jesus Christ, obedience to which will bring ‘peace on earth,’ because it means—good will toward all men.”
